Qualifications

Qualifications: Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related STEM field. Familiarity with CAD tools such as Onshape, Solidworks, Altium, etc. Knowledge of cameras, electronics, and laboratory equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc.). Demonstrated experience in building or testing physical items through projects or employment. Excellent attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills. Understanding of the basic principles of optics and imaging sensors. Capability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.

Our internships provide a comprehensive experience across various engineering disciplines, including mechanical, electrical, optical, manufacturing, software, and test engineering. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to contribute to significant projects that enhance TRL11's product development efforts. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct measurements and performance analysis of camera components and systems.
  2. Support hardware testing, board validation, and debugging of electrical systems.
  3. Inspect, assemble, and measure mechanical components and enclosures.
  4. Assist hardware engineers with mechanical and electrical CAD designs and drawings.
  5. Develop and execute test plans, presenting findings to engineering leadership.
  6. Optimize in-house production parameters, including 3D printing configurations.
  7. Design test and assembly fixtures and tools.
  8. Create test scripts for assessing software or hardware functionality and performance.
