Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver an Engaging Curriculum: Lead small classes in math using our specially designed advanced curriculum and materials.
  • Foster Student Engagement: Actively involve students through interactive learning experiences and student-led discussions.
  • Effective Classroom Management: Skillfully manage classroom dynamics with up to 16 students.
  • Assess and Provide Feedback: Evaluate student assignments and offer constructive feedback.
  • Build Meaningful Relationships: Connect with students and their families to positively influence their educational journey.
  • Inspire a Love for Learning: Cultivate critical thinking and a passion for mathematics among students.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • A degree in a STEM-related field or education is highly preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in math content.
  • Experience in teaching or tutoring students.
  • Preferred experience in classroom teaching at the K-12 level.

Additional Information:

A formal teaching credential is not necessary for this role.

Schedule:

  • We offer multiple two-week camps throughout the summer, from June to August.
  • Camps run Monday to Friday for 3 hours each day, with both morning and afternoon sessions available.

Available Camps:

  • June 15-26, 1-4 PM
  • July 6-17, 12:45-3:45 PM

Location:

  • This position is in-person at our Irvine campus.
  • Candidates must reside in Irvine or the surrounding area and be able to commute to our location.

Compensation:

  • $36 per hour
