Role overview

The Supervisor of Autonomous Vehicle Testing Operations manages the daily activities of the Testing Specialist (TS) team. This position acts as the main point of contact for the TS group, working closely with Engineering leadership to refine testing protocols and operational standards. The supervisor resolves day-to-day challenges and coordinates efforts with Engineering, Learning & Development, Safety, and Operations to ensure testing runs smoothly.

Main responsibilities

Coordinate Testing Specialist schedules and vehicle assignments with Operations Supervisors
Oversee daily and weekly testing operations alongside the Operations team
Communicate timely updates to Testing Specialists regarding vehicle allocation and software bundle requirements
Review Development Tickets for safety concerns before scheduling tests
Work with the Triage Team to review DriveLogs as needed
Collect, monitor, and analyze key data for daily vehicle testing
Lead special projects, including high-visibility vehicle demonstrations for internal and external audiences
Handle basic troubleshooting for IT and autonomous vehicle systems
Participate in daily briefings, either via Zoom or in person
