Key Qualifications:2-5 years of experience in Systems Engineering. U. S. citizenship is required. Must be a qualified Surface Warfare Officer (SWO) with Department Head experience, or a Senior Enlisted member with significant Combat Systems experience, including Warfare Coordinator qualification. A minimum of 3 years at major staff or training commands, responsible for planning, tracking, monitoring, and conducting data analysis of surface ship training and certification. At least 4 years of experience with Navy training and certification processes, encompassing resource management, readiness assessments, and metrics analysis. Familiarity with Navy information systems for surface ship training management, including STRMS, TORIS, RADM, NTMPS/FLTMPS. Proven leadership skills in conducting workshops to identify and prioritize process improvement opportunities. Experience in developing and delivering presentations to senior Navy leadership, including Flag officers. Knowledge of configuration management and control concerning training processes. Experience with the Surface Warfare Enterprise (SWE), Surface Force Training, and Navy Training System Plans (NTSPs). Ability to track, catalog, and prioritize shipboard training system issues and deficiencies. Familiarity with NETC schoolhouse training requirements and Personnel Training Management Systems. Strong analytical skills to interpret large datasets and develop process improvements with effective communication. Prior operational experience as a Surface Warfare Officer or Combat Systems Specialist on Navy surface platforms is preferred. Experience with Navy training pipelines, readiness assessments, and curriculum development. Proficiency in using the Surface Training Resource Management System (STRMS).
