We are currently on the lookout for a dedicated Survey Crew Chief to lead field operations and guarantee the delivery of high-quality survey results for our expanding client base across the nation.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee data collection for a variety of projects, including ALTA, boundary, construction staking, and topographic surveys:
- Accurately locate boundaries, pins, improvements, utilities, and more.
- Check and reduce raw field data, perform necessary calculations, and systematically manage survey data.
- Conduct project research as required.
- Adhere to project managers' instructions and work orders.
- Maintain daily communication with the Field Project Manager to ensure project timelines are met and report any discrepancies in the schedule.
- Physical Environment Requirements:
- Navigating rugged terrains and remote locations safely.
- Working outdoors in various weather conditions, including extreme temperatures and muddy environments.
- Transporting heavy equipment, with regular lifting up to 25 pounds, frequent lifting up to 50 pounds, and occasional lifting of up to 100 pounds.
- Traveling regionally and nationally as needed.
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends when necessary.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and team members.
- Ensure project completion is done safely and efficiently, within schedule and budget constraints.
- Maintain and troubleshoot survey equipment on-site.
