We are seeking a skilled System Administrator specializing in both Linux and Windows environments.
Main Responsibilities
Administration & Operations
- Oversee, administer, and monitor Linux servers (Ubuntu, Debian, RedHat, etc.) and Windows Server.
- Manage and resolve level 2/3 incidents effectively.
- Handle accounts, permissions, and security policies using Active Directory and LDAP.
- Administer system services including DNS, DHCP, GPO, certificates, proxy, NTP, etc.
- Utilize monitoring tools such as Centreon, Zabbix, Nagios to supervise infrastructure.
Security & Maintenance
- Keep systems updated with patch management and security fixes.
- Enhance security through hardening, vulnerability management, log analysis, and antivirus/EDR management.
- Ensure backups and restorations are performed using tools like Veeam, CommVault, Bacula, etc.
Virtualization & Cloud
- Administer virtualized environments including VMware, Hyper-V, Proxmox.
- Contribute to cloud infrastructure management on platforms like Azure, AWS, or equivalent.
- Manage virtual machines, templates, and clusters.
Automation & Scripting
- Develop automation scripts using Bash, PowerShell, and potentially Python.
- Streamline recurring tasks and operational processes.
Projects & Continuous Improvement
- Engage in infrastructure evolution projects such as migrations, redesigns, and deployments.
- Document and update technical documentation as necessary.
- Propose improvements and be proactive in architectural discussions.
