In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert support, diagnosing issues, and optimizing our SAP B1 system to enhance performance.Key ResponsibilitiesSystem Performance Review & TroubleshootingPerform a detailed assessment of the SAP B1 system, environment, and configuration to identify root causes of:User Interface lag and freezingDelays in printing and PDF previewsSlow search and lookup capabilitiesExamine client/server logs, SQL/HANA performance metrics, add-ons, and network variables to pinpoint bottlenecks.Propose and execute performance improvement strategies. Crystal Reports Review & Optimization Assess, modify, and enhance current Crystal Report forms and layouts.Address issues related to slow rendering, print preview latency, and PDF generation.Boost Crystal Reports performance by refining formulas, queries, images, subreports, and design elements. Query Development & Optimization Modify and generate basic SQL queries using existing SAP B1 tables.Optimize queries for peak performance using industry best practices.Assist with reporting and data extraction requirements. Boyum B1 Usability Package (B1UP) Evaluate current Boyum configurations, macros, and validations.Enhance Boyum usage to prevent any contribution to UI slowness.Implement new Boyum rules or upgrades as necessary. Data Cleanup & System Stabilization Identify and rectify problematic or outdated data that hampers performance.Support initiatives to optimize master data, transactions, and overall system load.Advise on ongoing data maintenance and cleanup protocols.RequirementsRequired Skills & Experience 4–7+ years of hands-on experience with SAP Business One.Strong techno-functional insight into SAP B1 modules (Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, Finance).Demonstrable experience in troubleshooting performance challenges in SAP B1 (versions 9.x or 10.0).Proficiency in Crystal Reports (editing, debugging, performance tuning).Solid SQL skills (SQL Server or SAP HANA), including:Crafting simple queriesOptimizing slow queriesExperience with Boyum B1UP (validations, macros, screen personalization).Ability to independently analyze problems and implement pragmatic solutions.
