Qualifications

Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in a technical field with 15 years of experience as a System Administrator or a High School diploma with 20 years of relevant experience. Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is mandatory. Proficiency in Windows Server Administration, Active Directory, and Group Policy. Experience with Linux Server Administration. Knowledge of Broadcom VMware/ESXi, VMWare Virtual Networking, and vCenter. Expertise in Networking Switching and Router Management. Proficient in Storage Management (NetApp). Skilled in hardware and operating system troubleshooting. Experience in system hardening. Familiarity with Security Compliance Scanning tools (Nessus, ACAS). Understanding of project design within the scope of security (RMF) requirements. Active DoD IAT Level II certification (Security+)Demonstrated cyber/IT experience with strong attention to detail, customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Your Responsibilities

    • Perform functional and connectivity testing to ensure systems remain operational.
    • Develop and document standard operating procedures for systems administration.
    • Ensure baseline system security aligns with organizational policies.
    • Oversee account management, network rights, and access to systems and equipment.
    • Design and implement data redundancy and system recovery plans.
    • Install, update, and troubleshoot servers and systems.
    • Adhere to organizational procedures for systems administration.
    • Enforce local network usage policies and procedures.
    • Manage system and server resources including performance, capacity, and recoverability.
    • Monitor and maintain system and server configurations.
    • Conduct repairs on faulty hardware.
    • Troubleshoot hardware/software interface and interoperability issues.
