Qualifications

Required Qualifications:A Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related field from an accredited institution. Alternatively, 5 years of additional Systems Engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree, totaling 12 years of experience. Extensive experience with the specified technologies, particularly REST protocol and REST service design. Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph. Preferred Skills:Proven ability to resolve complex system and integration challenges. Strong technical skills and troubleshooting capabilities. Familiarity with Public Key Infrastructure (PKI). Knowledge of scalability and high-availability strategies across multiple service centers. Experience with software development methodologies. Understanding of application security testing, vulnerability management, and tracking processes. Familiarity with the Risk Management Framework (RMF). Demonstrated engineering experience involving requirements management, functional analysis, and system architecture development.

Join T-Rex Solutions and play a pivotal role in enhancing our national security infrastructure. We are seeking a fully cleared Systems Engineer to become an integral part of our innovative team located in Fort Meade, MD.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive Systems Engineering and Technical Support for the Identity Credential and Access Management (ICAM) system, focusing on Zero Trust Implementation. You will engage with technologies such as REST, Oracle/MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, JSON, XML, Docker, AWS, Nifi, Single Sign-On (OAuth and SAML), and Kubernetes. Your expertise will contribute to the creation and maintenance of ICAM documentation aligned with Zero Trust mandates, including release notes, installation/user guides, frameworks, SOPs, and strategic plans.

  • Conduct in-depth research on technical topics, identify areas for improvement, and possess hands-on capabilities in configuring system components. Your advisory documentation will support ICAM installation and planning efforts.

  • Collaborate with existing ICAM capability teams to draft architecture and design documentation, perform technology assessments, and contribute to strategic planning documents while supporting risk mitigation assessments.
