At Dura Vermeer Division Infra, we are committed to closely aligning the design and management of applications with the business needs. For the domain of Project Management, we are seeking multiple Application Specialists. You will specialize in Systems Engineering (Relatics), focusing on requirements management and system-oriented project control. You will take ownership, communicate clearly with various stakeholders, and develop your skills at the intersection of projects, processes, data, and systems. You will contribute to building a stable and future-proof project application landscape for our tenders and projects.
As an Application Specialist in Systems Engineering, you will be responsible for ensuring the continuity and optimal functioning of our project-supporting applications. You will work closely with the practical side: understanding the processes in our projects, knowing how project managers, preparers, executors, environmental managers, and engineers use the systems, and translating their needs into concrete solutions. This entails supporting the development and configuration of functionalities, while the actual use in the projects remains the responsibility of the business.
Your tasks will include:
Handling second-line inquiries that come in through the IT Service Desk, investigating causes, assessing impacts, and securing structural solutions;
Preparing, testing, and guiding changes, updates, and releases. You will actively consider the impact on organizational processes and ensure careful implementation;
Documenting procedures, instructions, and agreements, and supporting and training key users and colleagues to use the applications uniformly and efficiently;
Identifying improvement opportunities in processes and system configurations and translating these into concrete change proposals or smaller improvement initiatives;
