Key Responsibilities:
- Student Support: Engage with pupils with diverse needs including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH.
- Boosting Confidence: Provide personalized 1:1 or small group support to help each child excel.
- Fostering Positive Behavior: Assist the teacher in managing classroom dynamics and fostering a calm, encouraging environment.
- Encouraging Independence: Empower learners to progress and develop self-belief.
- Collaboration: Work alongside teachers, ALNCOs, and external professionals to achieve optimal outcomes for students.
- Safeguarding: Maintain the highest standards of pupil welfare.
Requirements
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience in supporting children or young people with additional learning needs.
- A calm, caring, and adaptable approach to learning.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or a willingness to process one).
- Right to work in the UK and currently residing here.
