Join LEONI’s North American Development Department as the Team Leader for our Automotive Electrical/Electronic Harness Design Team. We are seeking a dynamic leader with strong decision-making capabilities, excellent communication skills, and a solid technical background to represent LEONI in front of our esteemed customers. This role directly reports to the Head of Harness Design in Troy, Michigan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and guidance to direct reports within the designated area of responsibility.
- Act as LEONI’s representative in customer vehicle project teams, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Organize and plan regular team activities to achieve targets and fulfill all deliverables and requests.
- Establish clear objectives, action plans, and responsibilities for team members while monitoring and evaluating progress.
- Assess training and development needs of direct reports and support their professional growth by assisting in applying newly acquired skills.
- Identify and analyze potential risks, proposing effective mitigation strategies.
- Recognize opportunities for improvement within the team’s scope of work and actively contribute to enhancing services.
- Prepare and present reports to management as needed.
