Your Responsibilities:Take ownership of major features within the app, collaborating closely with our design team to deliver high-quality outcomes. Help shape the future direction of our Android development team. Maintain and enhance reliability metrics for key features. Engage in cross-departmental discussions with Product, Design, and Engineering teams. Review code submissions and provide support to fellow team members. Address critical issues and adapt to unforeseen challenges.

Role Overview

Speechify is looking for a Tech Lead to guide the Android Core Product. The Android app is the top text-to-speech app in the Play Store, and this role will help shape its future. The Tech Lead will support a growing user base and drive new projects, making decisions that directly affect the product and user experience.

  • Lead technical direction and architecture for the Android app
  • Work closely with engineers, designers, and product managers to deliver features that improve user experience
  • Set high standards for code quality, performance, and reliability

  • Contribute to strategic product decisions and help define the roadmap
