About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Legal & Compliance in Italy, this pivotal role is essential in ensuring our platforms, systems, and processes comply with all applicable regulatory and technical standards, while also supporting the company's commercial ambitions. The successful candidate will have an extensive understanding of regulatory frameworks, risk management, and the ability to collaborate effectively across various teams. You will work closely with the Managing Director for the Italian Market, the Technical Director, and other key internal stakeholders to seamlessly integrate compliance requirements into business operations.

Your Key Responsibilities

Ensure technical compliance with regulatory frameworks in Italy, aiding in license applications, renewals, audits, platform certifications, technical migrations and integrations, and ongoing obligations.
Conduct technical compliance gap assessments to effectively guide teams on implementing technical solutions and products.
Interpret and operationalize technical requirements from Agenzia delle Dogane e dei Monopoli (ADM) and Sogei, transforming them into actionable internal processes and controls.
Monitor and assess technical compliance risks, develop mitigation strategies, report on key risk indicators, and recommend compliant technical solutions.
Oversee ISO certification requirements for the Italian market by coordinating with relevant teams and stakeholders.
Collaborate with Product, Technology, Legal, Compliance, and Operations teams to integrate compliance into system design and delivery.
