You hold a Bac+5 degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent and have a minimum of 10 to 15 years of experience in electrical engineering. You possess a recognized expertise in electricity production and distribution, as well as knowledge of electrical networks and substations, particularly in managing high-stakes projects in nuclear and critical infrastructure. Accustomed to handling complex projects, you are capable of functioning in a cross-functional technical leadership role. You demonstrate strong leadership, a strategic vision, technical excellence, and a proven ability to engage effectively with clients and institutions.

In the role of Technical Director for Electrical Engineering, reporting to the Business Unit Director, you will be responsible for defining, structuring, and overseeing the technical excellence in the Electrical Engineering field within Assystem.

Your involvement will encompass the entire scope of electricity production, transport and distribution networks, and critical infrastructures, with a particular emphasis on nuclear projects, RTE/ENEDIS networks, and data centers.

Your Responsibilities:

Technical Vision & Roadmap:

  • Define and lead the technical roadmap for Electrical Engineering, aligned with the group strategy
  • Identify key development priorities
  • Establish and monitor technical performance indicators for the division

Technical Excellence & Subject Matter Expertise:

  • Serve as the cross-functional technical expert across all Electrical Engineering activities
  • Ensure the consistency of technical choices for high-stakes projects
  • Lead, structure, and validate standards, methodologies, and tools
  • Guarantee the quality of deliverables through internal audits and technical reviews, in collaboration with the Quality department

Nuclear Projects, Production & Networks:

  • Provide electrical expertise on nuclear projects (new builds and modifications), considering safety and regulatory compliance
  • Address challenges related to electricity production
  • Act as the primary contact for network interfaces with RTE and ENEDIS
  • Address specific issues related to critical infrastructures and data centers

Tools, Methods & Digital Transformation:

  • Oversee the development, qualification, and deployment of electrical engineering tools
  • Contribute to the digital continuity of studies and projects
  • Facilitate the capitalization of lessons learned and the standardization of practices

Support for Offers & External Engagement:

  • Provide expertise support for strategic tender responses
  • Engage in presentations and technical discussions with key clients
  • Contribute to enhancing Assystem's visibility (conferences, working groups, school partnerships)

Team Management & Technical Leadership:

  • Recruit and supervise technical teams
