Qualifications

You hold a Bac+5 degree in electrical engineering or equivalent and possess a minimum of 10 to 15 years of experience in electrical engineering. You have a recognized expertise in electricity production and distribution, in electrical networks and substations, and in managing high-stakes projects, particularly in the fields of nuclear energy and critical infrastructures. Accustomed to working on complex projects, you are capable of operating in a cross-functional technical leadership role. You demonstrate a strong leadership, a strategic vision, technical excellence, and a proven ability to communicate effectively with clients and institutions.

Under the leadership of the Business Unit Director, you will assume the role of Technical Director - Electricity, responsible for defining, structuring, and driving technical excellence in the Electricity sector at Assystem.

Your role encompasses the full scope of electricity production, transport and distribution networks, and critical infrastructures, with a particular emphasis on nuclear projects, RTE / ENEDIS networks, and data centers.

Your Responsibilities:

Technical Vision & Roadmap:

  • Define and guide the technical roadmap for Electricity, aligning with the group's strategic objectives
  • Identify priority development areas
  • Establish and monitor technical performance indicators for the department

Technical Excellence & Subject Matter Expertise

  • Act as the cross-functional technical expert across all Electricity activities
  • Ensure consistency in technical decisions on high-stakes projects
  • Lead, structure, and validate standards, methodologies, and tools within the field
  • Guarantee the quality of deliverables through internal audits and technical reviews, in collaboration with the Quality department

Nuclear Projects, Production & Networks

  • Provide electrical expertise on nuclear projects (new builds and modifications), integrating safety and regulatory compliance requirements
  • Address issues related to electricity production
  • Serve as the primary contact for network interfaces with RTE and ENEDIS
  • Manage specific challenges related to critical infrastructures and data centers

Tools, Methods & Digitalization

  • Oversee the development, qualification, and deployment of specialized electricity tools
  • Contribute to the digital continuity of studies and projects
  • Structure the capitalization of lessons learned and standardization of practices

Support for Offers & External Visibility

  • Provide expert support for strategic bid responses
  • Participate in presentations and technical discussions with key clients
  • Enhance the visibility of Assystem (conferences, working groups, school partnerships)
