Role Overview
The Technical Engineering Advisor (Manufacturing / DFM Engineer) role focuses on improving product development and making production processes more efficient. This position works closely with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure designs are ready for manufacturing and move smoothly into production.
Main Responsibilities
- Analyze product designs for manufacturability (DFM) and suggest improvements.
- Review 2D drawings and 3D models to confirm they meet technical requirements.
- Coordinate product development activities and support production launches.
- Serve as the main point of contact between customers and suppliers to keep projects aligned.
- Manage engineering changes within production systems and oversee change management processes.
- Assess and present production risks, including recommendations for mitigation.
- Monitor and help achieve key production milestones on schedule.
- Promote and support ongoing improvements in manufacturing processes.
Location
This role is based in Serbia.
