THE ROLE

As a pivotal member of the Forensics team, you will be the key investigator tackling Pure Storage’s most intricate technical challenges. Your role will involve conducting in-depth debugging and root-cause analysis on issues affecting our extensive storage platforms, with a particular emphasis on firmware integration within the overarching storage architecture. Collaborating closely with engineering, hardware, and platform teams, you will address critical escalations and design reliability features that safeguard the data of major hyperscale customers.


WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Lead High-Impact Investigations: Conduct root-cause analysis for significant escalations by correlating data from platform logs, system metrics, and hardware telemetry to identify the failure source.

  • Debug Across the Stack: Investigate complex failures that extend from high-level operating system layers down to low-level device firmware and hardware interactions.

  • Engineer Triage Tooling: Develop and enhance automated tools for log analysis and health monitoring to expedite issue detection and minimize the overall
