As a Technical Support Specialist, your primary responsibility will be overseeing signal distribution and networking, including proficiency with AV-over-IP protocols, EDID/HDCP management, and HDBaseT. Your skills in specialized hardware maintenance and calibration of LED Video Walls will be essential, along with your ability to set up and troubleshoot immersive audio systems. Furthermore, experience with control systems such as Crestron, Extron, or Q-SYS, as well as expert-level administration of Microsoft Teams Rooms for Unified Communications (UC) & Hybrid Technology, is required.

Your daily responsibilities will include performing system checks, providing event support during Forge experiences, training staff on system usage, and ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of equipment. When technical challenges arise, you will troubleshoot and collaborate with facility IT regarding AV issues. You will also manage the Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) process for defective equipment, conduct on-site repairs as necessary, and maintain an inventory of equipment. Additionally, your role will involve coordinating with third-party vendors for the service and maintenance of AV systems, as well as supporting setup and user engagement with all audiovisual equipment in the space.

This position demands a candidate with a robust background in signal distribution, networking, and hardware integration, alongside experience in managing AV systems and resolving technical issues. Your ability to work effectively with staff, vendors, and IT teams will be crucial in ensuring the seamless operation of AV systems and delivering high-quality support to users.
