Recursion Pharmaceuticals seeks a Temporary Accounting Clerk for a 6-month contract in downtown Salt Lake City, Utah. This part-time position offers about 20 hours per week with a flexible schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Accounting department in providing accurate and timely financial information to stakeholders.
- Review invoices and support expense coding checks.
- Help onboard vendors into the payment system.
- Work with accounting clerks and finance team members to support payroll functions during a period of growth following the company’s IPO.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the organization to help maintain smooth financial operations.
Team and Reporting
This role reports to the AP/Payroll Manager and works closely with the Finance Team. The team values initiative, teamwork, and clear communication.
Requirements
- Currently working toward a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Basic understanding of accounting practices and principles.
- Experience with Google Workspace (Mail, Sheets, Meet, Docs) and Microsoft Excel.
- Openness to learning Coupa Pay and potentially NetSuite.
- Ability to work well in a team, provide strong internal customer service, and meet deadlines.
Location and Schedule
This position is onsite in downtown Salt Lake City. The schedule is flexible, with a commitment of approximately 20 hours per week over a 6-month temporary contract.
