About the Opportunity
This is not your typical sales position; it offers a unique chance to create and manage a hyperlocal magazine within your community, with the backing of a well-established national company. You will cultivate your own venture by developing your market, nurturing client relationships, and focusing on generating a sustainable revenue model.
If you are a sales-oriented individual with a passion for building relationships and investing in your community, this role combines sales expertise, entrepreneurial spirit, and community leadership into an exceptional opportunity.
Position Summary
We are on the lookout for a Territory Sales Manager (referred to as Area Directors at N2) to initiate, develop, and lead a BeLocal publication in your area. As a local publisher, you will drive revenue, forge partnerships with local business owners, and curate a magazine that encapsulates the essence of your community.
Your initial months will involve setting up your territory and expanding your client base. From that foundation, you will grow an asset that you own.
This hybrid role entails a mix of in-person community engagement and remote work from your home office.
Who You Are
- Entrepreneurial and self-motivated: You thrive on building something valuable rather than merely maintaining it.
- A natural relationship builder with strong consultative sales skills.
- Driven by a passion for empowering local businesses to thrive.
- Confident in leveraging N2's proven systems while making them uniquely yours.
What You'll Do
- Conduct consultative meetings with local business owners to establish enduring advertising partnerships.
- Develop meaningful relationships within the community using an established engagement model.
- Connect local businesses with their target customers through your publication.
- Engage homeowners to gather genuine, community-oriented content.
- Oversee your territory, sales pipeline, and publication operations effectively.
- Collaborate with N2's national team for design, production, training, and continuous support.
- Act as the face of Stroll in your market and lead the growth of your publication.
