Your impact starts here:A successful university degree (preferably a master's) in a technical field (e.g., engineering, packaging technology, etc.)Ideally, you have completed at least one internship (or equivalent) in a manufacturing environment with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) experience during your studies. Exceptional interpersonal skills with strong competencies in teamwork, adaptability, innovation, initiative, integrity, and professional maturity. Ambitious with a strong desire to develop into a leadership role. As this is a graduate program, you should ideally have minimal practical experience post-graduation. Advanced proficiency in both German and English, as AbbVie is an international, English-speaking company.

The Technical Development Program (TDP) is a local leadership development initiative at our Ludwigshafen site, aimed at nurturing high-potential leaders within AbbVie Operations. This three-year program offers you the chance to explore various roles across AbbVie Operations while honing exceptional functional and leadership skills through diverse projects and interactions with various leaders.

Upon completing the TDP, you will possess a wealth of experiences, technical expertise, and the confidence needed to make a remarkable contribution to patient care.

Your journey will include:

  • Hands-on experience in manufacturing (e.g., packaging, bulk production), engineering, quality assurance, operational excellence, technical operations, and/or supply chain.
  • Career mentoring with professional and leadership training to accelerate your development.
  • Extensive opportunities for professional and personal growth over the three-year program (including 18 months in a shift system), providing you with essential skills for future success in our company.
