Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated Training Technician to facilitate the effective implementation, operation, and technical preparedness of training programs for Saronic’s advanced hardware, software, autonomous systems, and fleet operations. This position is crucial in ensuring that training equipment and environments are properly configured, training materials are accurate, and both instructors and participants receive dependable technical support throughout training sessions.
The Training Technician collaborates closely with training leadership, instructional designers, mission operations trainers, and cross-functional engineering and operations teams. This hands-on, execution-oriented role is key to delivering high-quality training experiences, including live, hybrid, and customer-facing training, without being responsible for content strategy. It connects technical readiness with effective training execution.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure readiness of training systems, labs, and equipment.
- Set up, configure, and maintain training hardware, software, and diagnostic tools prior to training sessions.
- Confirm that training systems and simulators are in alignment with current configurations that adhere to production standards and product releases.
- Test and validate the functionality of equipment utilized in live and practical training settings.
- Quickly troubleshoot technical issues to minimize disruptions during training events.
Provide support during training delivery:
- Offer on-site technical assistance for instructors and trainees during classroom, workshop, and hands-on training activities.
- Operate and support audio-visual technology, connectivity tools, virtual classroom tools, and Learning Management System (LMS) resources during live and hybrid sessions.
- Assist with practical setups for simulations, demonstrations, and equipment exercises.
- Act as the first point of contact for training participants facing technical difficulties.
