Join a dynamic flight operations team where each mission is crucial. As a UAV Flight Operator, you will be responsible for operating fixed-wing UAVs in challenging environments, requiring precision, reliability, and sound technical judgment. This role extends beyond mere piloting; it encompasses the management of the aircraft, ground control systems, and mission execution from preparation to post-flight analysis. A hands-on technical mindset is pivotal in this role.

Key Responsibilities

Execute and support fixed-wing UAV missions in both operational and testing environments, fulfilling roles as pilot, technician, and ground control station operator.
Engage in comprehensive pre-flight planning, which includes airspace coordination, weather assessments, system diagnostics, and risk evaluations.
Oversee the launch, flight, and recovery of fixed-wing UAVs in manual, assisted, and autonomous flight modes.
Manage ground control stations, data links, and communication systems during missions.
Adopt a robust flight test mentality, executing test points and adjusting flight profiles as conditions allow.
Utilize EO/IR and visual payloads for surveillance, reconnaissance, mapping, and tracking tasks.
Guarantee flight safety and adherence to regulations in VLOS and BVLOS operations.
Keep meticulous records of flight logs, checklists, maintenance documents, and system information.
Conduct routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and field repairs on UAV systems.
Work closely with engineers, mission planners, and data teams to enhance aircraft performance and operational workflows.
Travel frequently for training, test missions, and demonstrations, which may include deployments to secure operational areas.
Operate from various bases including Spain, Netherlands, Portugal, Germany, Switzerland, and secure zones in Ukraine.
Be prepared to remain on-site for extended durations as mission demands dictate.
