Qualifications

Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Over 8 years of experience in Unity development, including at least 3 years in a senior or lead role. In-depth knowledge of Unity architecture patterns (Dependency Injection, event systems, state machines, object pooling). Experience with multi-module Unity projects (UPM packages, shared SDKs). Comprehensive understanding of asynchronous programming in Unity (coroutines, async/await, UniTask). Familiarity with Addressables and scalable asset management. Proven track record in developing technical specifications and architectural decision records (ADRs). Experience managing dependencies across teams in a product setting. Expertise in hardware-integrated applications and external SDK/device communication. Strong analytical and communication skills. Fluent in English. Located in or willing to relocate to İzmir, Turkey.

Rapsodo is expanding and looking for a Unity Software Architect in İzmir, Turkey.

What You Will Do

Assess feature requests and judge their technical fit within the current Unity architecture.
Spot architectural risks, define project boundaries, evaluate trade-offs, and recommend implementation paths.
Translate features into clear technical specifications, including modules, patterns, event flows, and interfaces.
Lead architecture alignment meetings and act as the final authority on Unity architecture decisions.
Coordinate with firmware, mobile, backend, and QA teams to manage dependencies and remove obstacles.
Keep architectural documentation up to date, ensure consistency in system design, and manage data flows.
Own the long-term Unity architecture, improve tooling and patterns, and maintain code quality standards.
