Qualifications
- Manage and maintain core Linux/Unix systems effectively.- Execute operating system and software installations and upgrades as necessary.- Analyze, design, and enhance the upgrade processes for applications and servers.- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.- Develop and uphold standard operating procedures to enhance efficiency.- Ensure the integrity of Unix workstation/server data in compliance with company controls.- Proficient knowledge of Red Hat Linux (required).- Proficient knowledge of HP-UX (required).- Previous experience in installing, configuring, and maintaining Unix/Linux servers, networks, and clusters.- Advanced understanding and experience with HP OpenView and other performance monitoring tools.
