We are urgently seeking freelance Portuguese interpreters based in Newcastle to provide services across diverse environments, including the NHS, Local Authorities, Police, Probation, and various other public and private organizations.

- Face-to-Face Interpreters
- Telephone Interpreters
- Video Interpreters

Important: This is a self-employed position.
The Role:
As an interpreter, your responsibility will include listening attentively, understanding, and accurately conveying the content from the source language to the target language.
You will:
- Provide interpretation services for clients accessing legal, health, and local government services.
- Ensure non-English speakers comprehend by checking their understanding after each sentence.
- Engage in conference, consecutive, and public service interpreting.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with care.
- Act as a liaison between service users and service providers.
