The Role:

As an interpreter, your role will entail accurately listening, understanding, and memorizing content in the source language, then translating it into the target language with precision.

Your responsibilities will include:

Providing interpretation services for clients requiring legal, health, and local government support
Ensuring non-English speakers comprehend the information after each segment
Engaging in conference, consecutive, and public service interpreting
Handling highly confidential information with discretion
Facilitating communication between service users and providers

Requirements:

Fluency in English and Somali (or another language)

Formal qualifications such as:

Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (DPSI)
