The Role
As an interpreter, your responsibilities will include listening to, comprehending, and accurately reproducing content from the source language into the target language. Key duties include:
- Interpreting for clients accessing legal, health, and local government services
- Ensuring the understanding of non-English speakers after each interpretation
- Providing conference, consecutive, and public service interpreting
- Handling highly confidential information
- Acting as a liaison between service users and providers
