Please be aware that this is a self-employed position.
Your Role:
As an interpreter, you will be responsible for accurately listening to, understanding, and memorizing content in the source language, then reproducing it in the target language with 100% precision.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Facilitating communication for individuals utilizing legal, health, and local government services
- Verifying understanding with non-English speakers after each statement
- Providing conference, consecutive, and public service interpreting
- Handling highly confidential information
- Acting as a liaison between service users and service providers
