The Role:

As an interpreter, you will be responsible for listening, comprehending, and accurately reproducing content from the original ‘source’ language to the ‘target’ language.

Your responsibilities will include:

Interpreting for individuals accessing legal, health, and local government services.
Ensuring the non-English speakers comprehend after each sentence.
Engaging in conference, consecutive, and public service interpreting.
Handling highly confidential information with discretion.
Facilitating communication between service users and service providers.

Requirements:

Fluency in English and at least one additional language.
All applicants must possess the right to work in the UK.
Applicants must be aged 21 or over.
Formal qualifications such as:

Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (DPSI)
