The Role
As an interpreter, you will be responsible for accurately listening to, understanding, and memorizing the original content in the source language, before translating it into the target language with complete precision.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Interpreting for individuals accessing legal, health, and local government services
- Ensuring comprehension of non-English speakers after each statement
- Providing conference, consecutive, and public service interpreting
- Handling highly confidential information
- Acting as a liaison between service users and providers
