About the Role

As a Tax Reviewer, your responsibilities will include ensuring accuracy, compliance, and high-quality output across various tax return types, managing client communications, and providing support to a U. S.-based public accounting team.

Essential Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of dedicated U. S. tax review experience (not merely preparation) in public accounting
  • In-depth knowledge of U. S. federal, state, and local tax regulations
  • Extensive review experience with: 1040, 1120/1120S, 1065, 1041
  • Exceptional English communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Demonstrated experience in client relationship management (updates, Q&A, and ownership)
  • Proficiency in CCH Axcess, Canopy, and QuickBooks Online

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CPA or EA (required for reviewer roles)
  • MST or advanced tax coursework
  • Experience working with U. S. firms in a nearshore/offshore capacity
  • Familiarity with Slack, Teams, Zoom

  • Provide detailed, constructive feedback to preparers
  • Identify tax-saving opportunities and compliance risks
  • Manage client communication: updates, inquiries, and issue resolution

  • Meet stringent review deadlines in a high-volume environment
  • Collaborate with managers on complex tax issues
