Are you a motivated automotive leader with a knack for driving sales success? Pierre Auto Group is on the lookout for a seasoned Used Car Sales Manager to oversee our pre-owned vehicle department and contribute to our dealership's ongoing growth.
As a vital member of our leadership team, you will manage the used car inventory, inspire and guide the sales team, and ensure a top-notch customer experience from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee departmental operations of the used car sales division.
- Collaborate with sales staff to assist customers in completing purchases using desking software, creating profitable and customer-centric purchase proposals after assessing credit and trade-in information.
- Recruit, train, and manage a dynamic team of sales professionals.
- Implement effective sales strategies, processes, and objectives.
- Manage inventory levels and adapt to market conditions.
- Appraise trade-ins and source vehicles for resale.
- Coordinate with the Service Department to ensure proper reconditioning of acquired vehicles.
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
- Analyze market trends and adjust strategies accordingly.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in automotive sales management, particularly in used vehicles.
- Demonstrated history of exceeding sales targets and leading successful teams.
- Extensive knowledge of inventory management and vehicle appraisal processes.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and customer service abilities.
- Proficient in dealership CRM and DMS software.
- A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
