About the job

Arena Investors, LP is a premier global investment management firm dedicated to delivering attractive, risk-adjusted returns that are both consistent and uncorrelated. Our expertise lies in executing off-the-run, stressed, distressed, illiquid, and esoteric special situation transactions through the origination and acquisition of asset-oriented investments across various asset types, including private direct corporate credit, commercial real estate bridge lending, and commercial and consumer assets.

As an affiliated Special Servicer, Quaestor Advisors (“Quaestor”) provides comprehensive mid and back-office services, including asset management, to Arena Investors and its external clients. We are expanding our Valuations team and are eager to welcome a Valuations Analyst / Associate to our ranks. In this pivotal role, you will work closely with the Senior Vice President of Valuations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Possess a robust understanding of DCF, binomial, and option pricing modeling techniques.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in business valuation analyses utilizing DCF, publicly-traded guideline company methods, and comparative M&A transaction methods.
  • Conduct thorough market, industry, and economic research and analyses.
  • Review and summarize financial, corporate, and legal agreements and other pertinent documentation.
  • Craft detailed narrative valuation reports and memorandums.
  • Investigate and understand valuation issues across various industries, including operating businesses, renewable energy systems, and fractional interests in real estate.
