About the job
Armada designs and deploys edge infrastructure for sectors such as energy and defense, supporting operations in more than 60 countries. The company’s technology delivers compute, connectivity, and sovereign AI/ML solutions in demanding environments. Recognized by Fast Company as one of the Most Innovative Companies, Armada has raised over $200 million from backers like Microsoft (M12) and Founders Fund, and partners with organizations including Starlink, Skydio, and NVIDIA. The team values ownership, autonomy, and making a meaningful impact while working to close the digital divide worldwide.
Role overview
The Value Engineer sits at the crossroads of finance, infrastructure, and AI compute economics. This position shapes the financial narrative for Leviathan, Armada’s modular, liquid-cooled data center platform. Responsibilities include measuring Leviathan’s value, building financial models, and helping customers, partners, and internal teams understand its competitive advantages.
This is not a typical back-office modeling role. The Value Engineer works directly with customers and takes responsibility for commercial outcomes, serving as a financial advisor to hyperscalers, emerging cloud providers, energy companies, investors, and public-sector organizations. The role combines the analytical rigor required by investment committees with the storytelling skills of a founder.
