We focus on early-stage software companies with annual revenues between 1-10 million euros, identifying those that have promising products and markets but require operational enhancements to unlock their true potential.
Your role as a VC Analyst Intern will involve collaborating with our dedicated team to source, evaluate, and invest in these promising companies.
Your Mission
As part of the Hexa Scale team, you will engage in the deal-flow cycle, aiming to facilitate two successful investments annually.
Key Outcomes
Enhancing Deal-Flow
- Conduct initial evaluations of inbound leads, ensuring a response to entrepreneurs within 48 hours.
- Weekly identification of new companies that align with our investment criteria, targeting the outreach of 30 potential candidates.
- Assist in optimizing our outbound tools including databases, automation processes, and data scraping techniques.
Conducting Market Research
- Perform in-depth sector research, including mapping key players, product features, competitive landscapes, funding statuses, exit potentials, and customer value propositions.
- Collaborate with market experts by organizing qualitative interviews to gather insights, targeting at least 10 interviews with critical buyer personas in identified markets.
Company Analysis
- Analyze target companies’ business models, products, teams, growth strategies, and overall business plans to formulate a comprehensive investment opportunity assessment.
- Support the Hexa Scale team during introductory meetings and due diligence calls.
