Position Summary
As a Vendor Management Specialist at ButcherBox, you will play a pivotal role in nurturing and managing relationships within our network of external suppliers and service providers. This position is primarily focused on internal operations, ensuring effective vendor onboarding and management processes while also participating in some external negotiations.
We seek an organized, relationship-oriented project leader who excels in cross-functional collaboration. In this role, you will work closely with procurement, quality assurance, legal, finance, operations, and impact teams to continuously enhance our vendor ecosystem.
You won't need to have all the answers immediately, but you will be expected to provide structure, clarity, and strong stakeholder alignment. This role reports to the Senior Director of Impact & Strategic Initiatives and collaborates extensively with Legal and Finance leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the Vendor Management Process
• Oversee the entire vendor management lifecycle, including onboarding, classification, performance tracking, renewals, and offboarding.
•Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with company standards.
