THE PROGRAM

Our Veterinary Technician Student Externship Program is designed to support aspiring veterinary technicians in reaching their full potential. This hands-on program immerses you in the field of emergency medicine, working alongside our highly skilled and credentialed emergency veterinary technicians.

You won’t just be an observer; you’ll actively participate. Engage with real cases, ask questions, practice new techniques, and delve into the exciting world of emergency medicine. From patient triage to diagnostics and inpatient care, you will gain firsthand experience that will help you determine if this is the path for you. This externship is your opportunity to lay a solid foundation for your career while being part of something significant.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Learn from leading professionals in emergency veterinary care.
  • Collaborate with a credentialed emergency veterinary technician for on-the-job mentoring.
  • Shadow and assist with triage, outpatient visits, diagnostics, anesthesia, inpatient care, and more.
