Qualifications7-14 years of experience in investment banking, asset management, private markets, or investment strategy/research, focused on international markets. Demonstrated proficiency in macroeconomic analysis and cross-asset research across EMEA and APAC. Thorough understanding of alternative investments, including private equity, private credit, and real assets. Skilled in producing thought leadership content for institutional audiences, including white papers, thematic research, and market outlooks. Proficient in Bloomberg Terminal and Excel; familiarity with Pitchbook and other relevant tools is a plus.

About the Role

iCapital Network is in search of a dynamic Vice President or Assistant Vice President to become a pivotal member of our Investment Strategy team. This role is centered on conducting comprehensive international research within the EMEA and APAC regions. You will collaborate closely with the Portfolio Management Due Diligence team, delivering strategic insights on global macroeconomic trends, public and private markets, and alternative investments. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional analytical abilities and a talent for producing top-tier thought leadership content, complemented by outstanding presentation skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute in-depth macroeconomic, sectoral, and cross-asset research across equities, fixed income, FX, commodities, and private markets with a focus on the EMEA and APAC regions.
  • Track policy changes, capital movements, and significant themes such as energy transition, AI integration, and regional deglobalization trends.
  • Create high-quality thought leadership publications, including white papers, thematic reports, and market outlooks, tailored for global institutional investors.
  • Work alongside the Portfolio Management Due Diligence team and Senior Leadership to define research objectives and provide insightful, executive-ready deliverables under tight deadlines.
  • Enhance advisor education and client interactions by preparing presentations and market analyses that reflect iCapital’s global investment perspective.
  • Engage in external activities, such as industry events, panels, and client discussions, to articulate iCapital’s global investment viewpoints and research findings.
  • Conduct research and monitor private equity, private credit, real estate, infrastructure, and hedge fund strategies in international markets.
  • Develop and sustain financial models utilizing Bloomberg Terminal, Excel, and regional data sources for thorough analysis.
  • Contribute to the establishment of replicable research methodologies and maintain a comprehensive knowledge base of international market intelligence and thematic trends.
