Qualifications

Preferred qualifications include: A bachelor’s degree in a scientific field, Economics, Business, or a related discipline; a master’s or PhD is advantageous. Over 10 years of consulting or related experience in commercialization strategy, primarily focused on health policy or reimbursement strategy, particularly in physician-administered medicine. A demonstrated history of revenue generation and business development success. A strong grasp of CMS regulations, coding, payment methodologies, and physician reimbursement dynamics. Exceptional communication skills, including proficiency in strategic and technical writing. Proven leadership capabilities—holding accountability for outcomes and guiding team decision-making, with a consistent and clear direction that exemplifies a strong work ethic.

About the job

The Vice President of Market Access Consulting will play a pivotal role in the advancement and expansion of consultative services tailored for life sciences clients, serving as a key leader within Precision AQ's consulting team. This executive position involves generating new business opportunities, fostering significant client relationships, and discovering avenues to enhance and expand existing services.

The ideal candidate should possess extensive experience and expertise in market access and reimbursement strategies, with a robust understanding of Medicare access and payment structures, as well as comprehensive knowledge of the entire drug development and commercialization process.

This role reports directly to the Senior Vice President and Managing Director of US Access Strategy & Analytics.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Leading market access initiatives that deliver innovative solutions spanning the access continuum, from payers to providers to patients.
  • Achieving revenue and sales targets through direct client engagement and supporting project leaders in client management, project delivery, and sales efforts.
  • Providing strategic leadership as part of a core consulting team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality consulting services to clients in the biopharmaceutical sector.
  • Contributing to recruitment, staffing, professional development, and fostering a positive team culture.
  • Collaborating with various business units to formulate and execute business strategies.
  • Identifying and developing new business opportunities while maintaining long-term partnerships with clients, proactively proposing innovative technical and strategic solutions.
  • Mentoring and developing team members, including overseeing onboarding processes and facilitating career development opportunities.
