Qualifications
To excel in this role, candidates should possess a strong background in enterprise IT, including expertise in networks, cloud technologies, endpoints, service desk operations, SaaS platforms, and operational technology connectivity. You will be expected to:Develop and implement a multi-year technology roadmap that incorporates AI/ML, full-stack and mobile applications, edge computing, and IIoT automation aligned with VVater's strategic objectives. Lead and enhance cybersecurity initiatives, adopting a zero-trust architecture and ensuring compliance with industry standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, and CMMC. Oversee the development of full-stack and mobile applications using technologies like React/Flutter, Python/Node, and C++/C# to create customer-facing portals and internal workflow solutions. Manage industrial automation and operational technology integration, ensuring compliance with PLC/SCADA standards and optimizing sensor networks. Implement DevSecOps, CI/CD, and Infrastructure-as-Code practices to streamline development and deployment processes. Provide direct support for critical issues, addressing network setups, cloud configurations, and code assessments as needed. Work collaboratively with Sales to refine pricing models and technical support during late-stage processes, bridging the gap between commercial and engineering teams. Recruit, mentor, and retain top-tier talent in engineering, IT administration, data science, and security, fostering a culture of inclusion and high performance.

As the Vice President of Technology and Information Services (VP TIS), you will spearhead VVater's digital transformation and operational technology strategies, overseeing everything from enterprise IT and cybersecurity to the development of AI-driven products, full-stack applications, and industrial automation. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will collaborate closely with Sales, Operations, and Engineering teams to establish a robust technology vision, ensure the smooth operation of IT processes, and provide secure, scalable solutions that drive growth and enhance efficiency. This role combines strategic oversight with hands-on leadership, managing service desk operations, network and cloud infrastructure, and end-user support while advancing initiatives in AI, software engineering, and automation.
