Qualifications & ExperienceEducational BackgroundHigh School Diploma or equivalent. Professional Experience3 to 4 years of relevant experience in logistics, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role. Alternatively, a comparable combination of education and experience will be accepted. Familiarity with Transportation and Logistics operations. Proficiency in ERP systems, particularly Axapta. Strong numerical skills, including the ability to perform calculations related to discounts, invoices, and percentages. Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).

About the job

  1. Key Responsibilities

            Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Evaluate contractual obligations, customer requirements, design modifications, and other relevant data to strategize and execute logistics initiatives from the initial concept through the product's life cycle.
  • Formulate and enact logistics program activities, coordinating the efforts of subcontractors, production teams, and field service staff, while troubleshooting logistics-related issues to fulfill contractual obligations.
  • Develop and produce handbooks, bulletins, and information systems to deliver comprehensive logistics support.
  • Gather data regarding standardization and interchangeability of components to streamline logistics processes.
  • Establish logistics support timelines and phasing, addressing challenges that arise from operational locations and factors that influence personnel, including environmental and human considerations.
  • Conduct special research or technical studies essential to logistics functions.
  • Employ computational techniques for analytics, simulation, or information systems documentation.
