Position: Web Specialist
Join Lago, a dynamic digital marketing agency based in the Philippines, as a Web Specialist. In this role, we seek an expert in Elementor, WordPress, and Figma who can enhance our website development process, collaborate seamlessly with design and development teams, and take the lead in transforming strategies into visually striking, conversion-optimized websites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop exceptional WordPress websites using Elementor, following approved Figma designs.
- Convert Figma wireframes and mockups into responsive, modern layouts.
- Oversee updates, revisions, and content management for active client websites.
- Implement SEO best practices, including metadata, headings, on-page formatting, image optimization, redirects, and plugin configurations.
- Install and optimize SEO plugins like Yoast, RankMath, or All-in-One SEO.
- Ensure a clean site architecture with proper use of theme builder templates and reusable components.
- Maintain clear communication with account managers and clients regarding project timelines and deliverables.
- Conduct thorough quality assurance on each site prior to handoff, ensuring mobile performance, accessibility, and page speed standards are met.
- Work closely with designers to uphold design consistency throughout the development process.
- Utilize creativity and problem-solving skills to address design or layout challenges.
- Document processes and work progress in an organized manner.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of professional experience with WordPress.
- At least 3 years of experience in building websites using Elementor (Pro preferred).
- Demonstrated ability to translate Figma designs into polished WordPress sites.
- Strong understanding of SEO fundamentals.
- Experience with SEO plugins such as Yoast, RankMath, or similar tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail with a creative eye for design layout.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Basic HTML/CSS knowledge.
- Familiarity with other page builders (e.g., Divi, Breakdance, Bricks).
- Experience in creating supporting assets like graphics or simple design elements.
- Understanding of website hosting, staging environments, and domain/DNS management.
