Join Lantum as a Workforce Scheduling Engineer and play a pivotal role in revolutionizing workforce management in healthcare. Based in London, this permanent position (0.6 - 1 FTE) allows you to contribute to our Connected Scheduling™ platform, which empowers healthcare organizations and their staff with enhanced autonomy in managing their schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and refine NHS rotas using Lantum’s AI-driven scheduling platform.
  • Analyze specific Trust requirements and incorporate them into scheduling constraints.
  • Adjust constraint weights to achieve a balance of fairness, compliance, preferences, and coverage.
  • Assess the output of scheduling solutions against client acceptance criteria and timelines.
  • Meet fixed delivery milestones aligned with clinical publication schedules.

Technical Skills:

  • Develop and modify scheduling constraints using Java with OptaPlanner/Timefold.
  • Use SQL (Postgres) for querying and validating rota data.
  • Analyze and debug solver outputs to ensure effective scheduling solutions.
