Key Responsibilities:Assist with the recording and review of invoices using Payhawk and Oracle NetSuite. Maintain invoice records for all entities, both electronically and via postal mail. Support the management of virtual credit cards and travel expense reports. Aid colleagues with routine tasks including monthly closings and the preparation of regulatory and investor reports. Contribute to project work such as audits, internal reviews, and ISAE 3402 audits, along with updates to work instructions and process improvement initiatives. Facilitate communication between the accounting team and internal/external stakeholders. Your Profile:You are currently enrolled as a student in economics, finance, accounting, or a related discipline. You possess foundational knowledge in accounting and related processes. You demonstrate strong organizational skills and attention to detail. You have proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel; experience with accounting software is advantageous. You possess excellent communication skills in both German and English.

Your responsibilities will include assisting with invoice recognition and tracking, ensuring invoices are accurately categorized. You will facilitate approval workflows, directing invoices to the relevant stakeholders, and follow up on outstanding invoices, working closely with suppliers and internal teams for prompt resolution. Your understanding goes beyond rules; you comprehend their implications within banking ledgers. You will oversee the precise calculation, withholding, remittance, and reporting of German withholding tax, ensuring compliance with the latest BMF circulars and addressing German tax implications on corporate actions.Operational Excellence: You maintain a proactive, solution-oriented approach to daily operations.
