Your Role
As our Workshop Controller in Harlow, you will be instrumental in ensuring our workshop operates smoothly, safely, and efficiently. You will coordinate efforts across Coachbuilding, Refurbishment, Paintshop, and with Contractors to uphold high labor efficiency, deliver quality repairs, and meet customer expectations. Collaboration with Parts, Sales Engineers, and Commercial teams will be essential to complete jobs within deadlines while maintaining excellent customer communication and adhering to strict safety, housekeeping, and compliance standards.
What We Seek
We are looking for an individual with extensive experience in PCV or HGV repair and maintenance environments, someone who thrives in a dynamic operational setting. You should be an effective communicator, a confident leader, and a strategic planner capable of meeting deadlines. A solid understanding of vehicle systems, repair techniques, VOSA standards, and maintenance procedures is essential, along with the ability to maintain precise administration and documentation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- PSV or HGV vocational licenses
- Technical training from a recognized institution or industry qualifications
- Strong knowledge of vehicle electrical systems
