Role Overview
As the Operations & Ventures Associate, you will directly support the Principal of the family office by overseeing and executing critical projects across various business initiatives. Your focus will be on the successful launch of new ventures, enhancing operational efficiencies, and facilitating cross-functional collaboration to drive success.
In this role, you will engage in acquisitions, manage project execution, and participate in strategic planning, playing a vital part in the growth of successful enterprises.
Key Responsibilities
Venture Execution & Project Management (50%)
Managing New Ventures: Oversee and lead the development of new ventures from inception to operation, ensuring project timelines and budgets are adhered to while serving as the principal project manager.
Project Planning: Design and manage comprehensive launch plans for new businesses, including sourcing vendors (manufacturing, branding, shipping), setting up systems (websites, financial models), and executing processes.
Cross-Team Coordination: Serve as the primary liaison for both internal and external teams, ensuring alignment and the timely completion of tasks.
Sourcing Deals & Coordinating Investments (30%)
Finding Acquisition Targets: Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify potential acquisition targets. Assess opportunities, initiate outreach, and evaluate their feasibility.
Managing Due Diligence: Coordinate legal, accounting, and other teams throughout the due diligence process, ensuring comprehensive evaluations are conducted.
