Role Overview
We are currently seeking a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to spearhead and expand our security operations at Freedx. This pivotal role involves crafting the company's overarching security strategy and safeguarding our exchange platform, infrastructure, and digital assets. As a proactive leader, you will collaborate closely with engineering, product, and infrastructure teams to integrate security practices throughout the entire tech stack and software development lifecycle. This position is crucial for establishing a secure and resilient foundation as Freedx expands its global footprint.
Key Responsibilities:
• Formulate and execute a comprehensive company-wide security strategy.
• Architect and manage identity and access management (IAM) systems across all platforms.
• Ensure the security of the exchange platform, wallets, APIs, and trading infrastructure.
• Implement security measures throughout the software development lifecycle, including code, dependencies, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Lead incident response efforts, threat detection, and risk management initiatives.
• Foster a culture of security awareness and best practices across all departments, not limited to engineering.
