Key Responsibilities
Amazon Deal Optimization & Management
- Take ownership of Lightning Deals and Best Deals on Amazon.
- Utilize data to prioritize Best Deals for sustainable long-term value.
- Establish inventory thresholds based on historical data and forecasting to prevent premature deal terminations.
- Evaluate post-deal performance to refine our promotional strategies.
Promotional Planning & Forecasting
- Develop and maintain a proactive deal calendar for the top 20 parent ASINs and new product launches.
- Apply predictive analytics to recommend the best timing, product selection, and discount rates.
- Identify eligibility constraints using historical promotional data and Amazon's guidelines.
Pricing Strategy & Data Integrity
- Conduct regular audits of Amazon listings to rectify pricing discrepancies.
- Monitor Amazon MAP thresholds and highlight at-risk ASINs.
- Maintain a tracker for pricing restrictions and analyze root causes along with corrective actions.
Major Events & Cross-Team Strategy
- Collaborate with the SAS Manager to plan and execute key events (Prime Day, Black Friday, Cyber Monday).
- Coordinate with the advertising team to integrate PPC and paid media support around major deals.
Inventory Coordination
- Utilize sales velocity and lead-time data to optimize stock levels during promotions.
- Forecast demand driven by deals and work with stakeholders to prevent stockouts on key ASINs.
Promotions & Conversion Strategy
- Analyze the effectiveness of coupons, tiered promos, and percentage-off deals.
- Test pricing hypotheses related to elasticity, bundling, and promo stacking to boost conversion rates and basket size.
ASIN Eligibility Tracking
- Maintain a dynamic database for ASIN eligibility.
- Leverage analytics to identify the top 50 under-leveraged ASINs and highlight them for promotional opportunities.
